Are the S2000 seats made of leather or just the back inserts and seating surface. I have a feeling the sides and back are made of vinyl. I have been using leather cleaner and conditioner on the entire seat.

Your feeling is correct. Back side and outer parts of side bolsters are vinyl.
I don't think that leather seat care products can do any harm on vinyl.
