Thanks for the pic, that's a bit more reassuring. I got the driver seat to look pretty close to that now, still working on the other one. The hardest part is getting it over the side bolsters I think. How much steam / heat gun did you use? When I was at the upholstery shop, I asked the guy and he said they usually just leave them out in the sun for a day rather than use steam. (They probably do a better job installing it though)

I installed the seats yesterday. overall, I think they turned out pretty good. There are a few wrinkles still but I've noticed it just keeps getting better with time. Today I took the car to a show and it was sitting in the sun all day, i noticed by the end up the day they had tightened up even more.

Also, lesson learned - Don't steam microsuede / alcantera! I now have a stiff spot where it seems like I must have overheated the fabric. Luckily it's just a small spot. I'm mad at myself for doing that
Hopefully I don't regret the suede - we'll see with time. It's very comfortable and grippy but I just don't know how it's going to hold up.

Overall, I would say i'm happy with these Ridies covers. Fitment seems pretty good overall especially for the price.

Also, while I had the seats out I wrapped the center console to match, think it turned out pretty well!

I am so glad you made this thread. I am in this boat now too, but I have Suzuka blue seats so hopefully, Ridies has a few good samples. The seats look great.

Thanks, and yea I have still been happy with them. I think my photos should be up on Ridies website too... They were pretty good about samples as well.

How has the suede held up till now? Any regrets?
I’ve been thinking about switching to suede inserts for the breathability

It's held up fine, no real wear so far - looks new. But I will say its not very breathable, in the summer it was kinda sweaty. If breathability is what you want I would say stick with perforated leather.
