Default seat suggestions?

Yes i have searched through out the forums and i am still stuck as to what would suit me best, so please help me out guys

So I am looking into an upgrade from the stock seats. I am about 6' and 165 pounds 32" waist (planning on getting up to around 170-175 eventually).
Heres a break down of what I am looking for in a seat.
1. Safety (I have been tempted to buy replicas or f1 spec seats, but they havent been fia approved, and I dont want to risk anything in case something happens.)
2.lower seating position ( currently i sit all the way back with a slight recline for daily driving, and i would like to sit an inch or two lower so i can get a better field of vision, and in the event of a roll over I will have more space between my head and the roll hoops)
3. Grip ( I have been to autocross, and plan on going more this year too, and I noticed that I slide around in the stock seats a lot)
4. Fitment ( I dont want the seat to rub on the door or block the center console
5. Practicality/ comfort ( I do daily my car 30 miles 1 way every day, and often do longer trips of up to 1 hour in traffic, so i need something that is comfortable)
6. Cost ( I would like to keep costs down, but if the seat is worth it, i can always save up. it does not have to be an immediate purchase)

So here are some options that i have considered
Bride brix II - reclinable, higher bolsters, looks like it would be comfortable and grip well, But i dont think that it would allow for lower seating position, and it is costly
Bride ergo II- reclinable, lower bolsters than the brix so it would be better for a daily, but still probably not good for a lower seating position
recaro pole positions - Should be good amount of hug in corners, and lower the seating position significantly, but with a bucket how comfortable are they for commutes?
stock seat with lower rails - This is probably the cheapest option, and will help lower the seat but wont solve the sliding around.

Sorry for the long post, but I would like some opinions as to what would suit me best, especially if there are seats i have not looked at. Out of the ones i listed i think I am debating between the pole positions and the stock seat with lower rails. I would go with the pole positions if they are comfortable enough to commute in.

Thanks everyone, let me know what you think !!!

IMO, If the car is going to be daily driven and you want aftermarket seats I would go with either the Bride Brix or the Ergo like you have listed. Do not get a full bucket as it is wayyy uncomfortable to daily drive! The Brix and Ergo will be much more comfortable.

If you are trying to save some money and just want a lower height, then get some low rails, which is your third option. As the stock seats are already very comfortable, at least I think so. And it costs much less!

Do you know what low rider rails will work best with the OEM seats? Really only need the driver's side...

I think theres only the backyard special rails that will lower oem seats, but from what ive seen theyre only available for order from japan, so it might take a while to arrive. There was a member on here that made some available in the US but i dont think hes selling them anymore. If anyone else has more info let us know

I have to disagree, stock seats were pretty uncomfortable for me. I'm 5'9 and with 32" waist, when I bought my car I have to drive it for 8.5 hours, and my back was KILLING ME after hour two! That was a long trip.

To the OP: One of the first mods was investing in a good seat. I did a lot of research and took a gamble on a Recaro SPG ($825 shipped from Evasive). I love it! I initially paired it Buddy Club rails and later purchased Nagisa rails. It's extremely supportive and not uncomfortable. Everyone I know tells me that my seat looks uncomfortable until they try it out. I love autoX so I will never go back to stock seats. I've done a number of long trip from Yuma to LA and Phoenix and back in one day and was perfectly comfortable the entire time.

About the only downside to these seats is that the center console will not open all the way down. To me that was obviously not the breaking point in the sale, I knew about the issue beforehand.

My suggestion is to try to find someone nearby and try out a variety of seats. I live in Bumf*ck nowhere so I don't have this choice. You have to agree, something as subjective as driver's comfort can't be measured in dynos and charts. Don't just take someone's word about "full buckets being uncomfortable" and try them out for yourself.

Yeah thanks, I read about how some people dont have issues using a bucket as a daily and how others would never do such a thing. I contacted evasive since theyre in my area, but they dont have any of the seats i was interested in to try out. I guess local meets would be a good place to test out seats, so ill see if i can make it out to any.

Yup, its a matter of opinion. It all depends on what is comfortable to you. I personally would never DD with a bucket seat ! Track car is another story.

I know this is a bit contradictory to what i said earlier, but after some research Im possibly considering the F1 spec r1 seats(these are the gias replicas). Yes they are not fia approved, but from what i have read build quality seems to be pretty good plus they are much cheaper than other options. Id like to hear more opinions about these especially from those who have had them for a while that can review how well they hold up over time.
