Seats for a larger gentleman
I'm a bit of a unit - 240lb and 6' with a 40" waist.
I'm currently running the BYS seat rails with the stock seats but I really want to be lower in the car so have started looking at bucket seats. However, all of the seats that seem to be recommended for the S2000 max out at folk with a 36" waist.
What I'm looking for is a seat that will accommodate my larger frame but will still fit in the car without me butchering the interior. Someone somewhere recommended Cobra Monaco Sport GT seats but I can't find any example of where these have been fitted in an S2000.
Any recommendations?

The Pole Position ABE is wider than the FIA version. I’m not significantly smaller than you and I find my regular Pole Positions quite comfortable, the ABE might give the extra bit you need.

The FX1 Pro from Corbeau is around the same width at the front of the seat cushion (17.00") and it is 15.00" wide at the back of the cushion. It would be an interesting to know if the Sparco QRT-R is wider in the back than the FX1 Pro.
Keep in mind that the Pole Position seats are for max 175 lbs passenger...
My boss did install those in his NSX ( he's 225 lbs ). Seats are already broken where they attach to the rails...
Very weak / poor quality seats... Avoid... I'm 300 lbs... I did destroy the 2nd seat in less than 3min...
