I'm over 175 and mine are fine for 15 years. I've read rails breaking but never a seat, not sure I believe the above.

Anyone know whether the GT width Cobra seats such as the Monaco, Imola, or Suzuka will fit? I've been told that they won't but I'm not sure. I'm sure I saw someone on this forum fit a Monaco GT width seat in the S.

In my 9 years of ownership the S2000 seats were too much to bear for any trip that lasted more than 2 hours, I am the similar size to you. The seat was too narrow for my waist, but what was worst about the setup was driving with your legs extended outwards like a race car setup, a fantastic car in all respects but I just could never get comfortable in it. Putting the seat lower only made the leg extension issue worse. I envy the smaller guys who never had any issues with the seats.

Any idea on how much lower you sit versus stock?

Did you ever pull the trigger on a seat?

Getting older and though my seats are in basically in near perfect condition, my butt aches after any drive over an hour. I wish I could fit the CTR seats into the S2000 as those are by far the most comfortable "sports" seats I've ever sat in and my personal favorites. I want to find something very similar but small enough to fit, but just as comfortable and look similar. Just thinking out loud

Not too sure, I'll measure sitting on my passenger seat since I still have that installed. It's plenty of clearance to pass broomstick test for me, and cushion is removable to probably get another half inch lower too.
