I'm looking to buy a new center glove compartment/secret compartment and I'm curious whether the AP1 and Ap2 center glove compartment/secrect compartment are interchangable. I've an AP1 and I see quite a few for Ap2s for sale. I'm also curious whether the AP2s are a shade darker than AP1s (black interior).

Does anyone know?

 

www.hondaautomotiveparts.com otherwise known as Majestic Honda, has part numbers and illustrations. I checked a 2001 and a 2008, and they have different part numbers.

What exactly is different about them...I'm not sure. I doubt there's an actual physical difference.

Check for yourself on their website, but I can't tell a difference in the illustration. They're both listed as Graphite Black in color.



Hopefully someone who has set two side-by-side can chime in.

 

I looked at majestic honda, and it you are only referring to the rear part of the console, they have the same part number : 84570-S2A-A01ZA

Unless you wanted blue, then it would be: 84570-S2A-A01ZB
