Hi guys, I have an 03 silver s2000 and would like to replace the black stereo cover that mine came with with one of the silver aluminium (I think) ones - is this an easy swap do you know? Any advice really appreciated thanks!

 

in my opinion just buy the whole door with ac vents (it comes as one piece), it easily pops in. i did it on mine.

 

Yeah you can find the whole piece with vent trim and all which makes it super easy to do. I bought just the radio door cover when I did it and just a little annoying popping the door off those damn little pins but still not hard to do or anything just harder.

Just get aluminum look vinyl. Even home depot carries pretty convincing aluminum look vinyl. It's where they sell "contact paper" its $9. And the AP1 Radio door is flat, unlike the AP2 that has dimples. It doesn't look any less real than the OEM "aluminum" paint finish.

 

I prefer the black door over the silver door on my MY05. Are they interchangable?
