Default Soft Top Tray

Awhile back the rear tray had to be pulled out to adjust the soft top straps. Long story short, the tray does not want to fit flush to the panel that is right behind the seats. The part the is nearest to the trunk fits perfectly. I am wondering if I put it in wrong, maybe I should have angled the other side in first? It sticks out far enough where I can not get the pop rivets to lock into anything.

I'm having a hard time trying to image what you are describing.....rear tray? Was the top removed? would like to help as I had some problems at one time with top fitting down all the way and fixed it but just not sure of your problem.....

Having kinda the same problem. Any way to work on this without removing the soft top? Kinda a big dude, so trying to work in that small area with the top up is almost impossible for me
