Stock interiors on 2002
Was there an option on the 2002 s2000 to get the suzuka blue on the outside, but with black seats?
I'm looking to buy a stock s2000, but it is blue, but with black seats. If they are not original, that indicates that the car has been at least somewhat tampered with. I really just want a completely stock s2000.
Thanks.

Thanks for the quick reply! Really appreciate it.
edit: Does that chart indicate that there were only 66,000 s2000s ever made? If so, its going to be hard (and expensive) to get a low miles stock s2000.

Stolen seats are pretty common, I would not let that kill the sale if you found a nice S2000. Black seats in a blue interior wouldn't look too bad. Suzuka blue interiors are pretty radioactive (smurf blue lol), it's mostly the vinyl parts though, the suzuka blue seats are really nice.
I put suzuka blue seats into my black interior on my 2002, and then I changed a few parts to create a black and blue theme. Far from stock though.

I had a Suzuka blue that I swap out the blue interior for black - best mod I ever did on that car and it actually helped the resale because a lot of people like Suzuka Blue but can't deal with so much blue going on.
In any case if the seats are in excellent condition you should be able to swap back to blue seats if you want. Mint black seats are easy to trade. I trade my blue set from the old Suzuka for black ones and I had to add cash lol. When I sold the car the buyer was so happy to find that the interior is a nice blue / black combo.

I de-Smurfed my Suzuka with black with blue stitch Classio seat covers. Much more comfortable/no wind rushing thru your ears/bolster supports/protects original leather. Well worth the price. IMHO looks better than OEM

Nice! I had the red/black ones for a while before I found my dream seats (red/black 07 in mint condition!)
