Default Stolen Seats Etc./ What to do?

As of early this morning I joined the stolen seat club. They hacked a hole in my top, stole my seats, CR shifter knob, and floormats. I just discovered how difficult it can be to repair/replace the top and seats and with mixed results. Anyone have a better idea or suggestions on how to go about repairing/replacing this stuff? Should I go aftermarket? Do it myself? What do you guys think? I live in Southwest Houston..any good shops or people to talk to here for ideas? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Talk to your insurance company.

good luck hope you resolve this quickly!! I'm sorry this happen to you seems like a common thing in houston area. I really hope it doesn't spread east to Louisiana. Keep an eye out for your items on craigslist or other local forums.

well I say if you have the money to replace it yourself, go for it. My insurance totalled my old 2001 cause of the seats getting jacked along with the steering wheel, cluster, and ecu and other little things. All of it was repairable but because of the cost of parts and the value of the car, they deemed it not worth it and set it with a title of destruction.... needless to say, to me, it's easier to buy some used seats off here or locally for cheap or upgrade to aftermarket. Just be sure to get a set of seat locks and an alarm for comfort. If you wanna add the extra measure, go for a hardtop too. Oh yeah, the tops on eBay were of excellent quality and highly recommended. A lot cheaper than OEM too and better meterial... i think the company was called topsonline or something that a lot of people use.
