Default Using an AP1 steering wheel in an AP2

Hi all,

I was told that by swtiching to the AP1 steering wheel, I can use the red "H" center insert/airbag cover (which is what I want). Couple questions....

1. The AP1 steering wheel fits an AP2, correct?
2. Does everything work and is plug n' play (C/C, airbag, etc...)
3. Which center inserts/airbag covers are available with the Red "H" that will fit the AP1 steering wheel?

Thanks!

Ok you have an 06 ap2 right? in that case you can use the ap1 steering wheel but your gonna have to find an airbag which is dual stage and NOT single stage or it wont work, most pre 06 airbags are single stage so they wont work.

Yeah, Ive seen people use an AP1 wheel and AP2 bag. Now the question is which red "H" insert fits into the AP1 wheel?

The DC5 airbag fits, but won't work since it's also single stage. You may have to look for a 2006+ JDM Accord Euro R Airbag for the Red Emblem since they would be the only other vehicle to use dual stage Airbags with that "momo" type steering wheel. But double check the connectors before buying - and it will be stupid expensive.

The simplest thing to do is to get a sticker.

why you want ap1 steering wheel? i think 06+ looks better.

this is your red "H" solution.
