Chicago Auto Show
Just had another restaurant idea.....La Vida. I had dinner there on Saturday and the food was incredible!! It is located on Taylor and Loomis, near UIC. Parking is readily available and safe (if you park on Taylor).
It's a great little Italian restaurant where the atmosphere is very condusive to loud conversations but still classy where you aren't yelling over the volume of the next table. Excellent wines and pasta dishes.
Drinks are flowing like the Mississippi. Price for dinner for two out of a party of 8 was $50, including bruschetta appetizer, chicken dish, pasta dish, tiramisu desserts, 3 liquer drinks, 1 glass of wine, coffee, and gratuity.
Let me say again, EXCELLENT food and GREAT atmosphere!!!

Greg, Meat, Jason, Julian, Young, or Jerry. . .any preferences of meeting place. Has someone already made arrangements.
If someone can give me a second and a third, I am more than willing to make the arrangements. Also give me info about how many others everyone is bringing, and what time everyone wants to meet up at (and where).
If someone else is making or already has made arrangements, I'm not trying to step on any toes. Just let me know, thanks guys.

I vote for meeting at Goose Island at 4:00 on Saturday.
The Goose Island at 1800 N Clybourn.
This place is easy to get to. Has OK food, has lots of beer, etc...
Let me know what you guys think.

My vote is for Cafe Iberico, La Vida, then the Goose in order from most to least (not saying that I don't want to go).
I'm all about good food and atmosphere. I personally don't think that on Sat. in the late afternoon to late evening, we'll get decent seating together, or have good luck with parking. Iberico and Vida allows for reservations and has good parking avail.
And is anyone getting together before or during the show?

We'll be there... me, Brad and Juliann. Hey Meat... You bringing your car out for this? I want proof that it actually exists!
See everyone there! Some bad luck with our shocks means that we'll actually be able to bring our car there.

Unfortunately the car is on stands in the garage right now. Also, please don't forget that it is also wet out and the car doesn't like water.

Here is a pic from last March when I met Greg for the first time. Notice that Scarlet still was wearing that ugly front plate!
