did I read correctly that stock S2k rollbar is not allowed? Philistines...

 

I don't get it! The Driving Dynamics Performance school, which is held at Pocono, allows the stock S2K on the track.

I am signing up for Track Time (www.tracktime.com) at Watkins Glen on 7/11-7/12. It's $100 off if you sign up by March 31st. The Glen is a road course, as opposed to the oval-like NASCAR Pocono track, which is perfect for our cars, and also has the newer "soft" walls.

Anyone interested in joining me?

 

Well I am interested on the "Track time" event, but I can not confirm just yet. I will know... hopefully by March 31st.

S2ktaxi, it's too bad they will not allow the stock roll bar

Honda_s2k, are you sure the stock roll bar is going to be accepted for the Track time event?

Yes. The stock S2K is "approved" for Track Time. We already checked that out.

 

CORRECTION! The S2000 with stock rool hoops ARE NOT ALLOWED at this event.

I got this confused with another event that month at the Glen. Sorry.

Glenn: you were right - S2000 stock roll hoops not allowed by this organizer - I had it confused with another even in May at the Glen.

When I registered and told the guy what car I was driving I got "not another one!" It'll be great to see how the same cars with different drivers work the course. How long is it 'til July?
