Howdy from Texas!! Wanted to know if any members would be interested in a Houston meet sometime in February? Thought we might get some Austin ppl too. Would be pretty informal and more of a bull session than anything. Would like to get all the cars in front of some Houston icon (Astrodome, Transco falls, etc.) for a really cool pic. Please let me know. Just leave suggestions and date prefs here. I'll keep an eye on it and try to bring it all together as the time approaches. Looking forward to it!

Feb will be bad timing for me - that is, in the current agenda. Make sure to plan this around the John Eagle Honda Days up at TWS Feb 10th and 11th.

btw, I bought mine out of state, so no where near John Eagle Honda. Don't feel bad, just feel happy to drive the open roads in the Honda! Or rather, wish they were all open.

 

I just read your email and this sounds good. I've been wanting to do one next month, but probably after the John Eagle event. We might have some more stories(BS) to impress each other with!

I have found that Friday Happy Hours are hard to make for out-of-towners. I've made one Austin happy hour and had to leave work early. Saturday happy hours could be done over lunch and maybe a drive through the Plantersville area or Galveston would be fun. We just don't have the curves and hills that Austin has. Maybe we can entice them with SMOG and ROAD CONSTRUCTION!!!!

Any opinions on where the meet should be?

How much does this John Eagle event cost?

 

Its $175 for two days - however, to the best of my knowledge, this event has already been filled up.

Most registered back in October/November time frame. Make sure you register for the next event three to four months ahead of time. I didn't go last Sept., but I hear it was a blast!
