Their getups floored me and they were one of the best cover bands I'd ever heard. Too bad Tom's friend Don didn't talk all of the brides-to-be out of marriage.

And I second your sentiments. Tom did a wonderful job organizing the meet and showing us a great time. I'm glad I came up.

Charlie-

Our thoughts and hearts were with you and Michelle yesterday. Many asked about you but were very understanding given the circumstances.

ZIPPY ON THE OTHERHAND.....we just guessed that since rain was predicted for SUNDAY he was afraid to pull the car out for a SATURDAY meet.

dont hold it against Zippy he chose to help me out with a situation on saturday as opposed to going to the meet. He is a good friend. Hopefully we will see you all soon

 

sorry i couldn't make it guys but it was more like my car couldn't make it...the clutch isn't cooperating and it made normal driving almost impossible...didn't wanna be there if the s couldn't make it.

i will definately be there next time.

I really enjoyed meeting everyone. As I could tell from my time spent on the board...a great group of people. I was hoping to meet Jen...maybe next time. Only one yellow S, red and silver ruled the day on Saturday.

Thanks to everyone who showed up. It was nice to see some old friends and meet some new ones. I know some of you drove long distances, Gregg from DC and Mark from Albany! Even those of you who didn't have to drive so far had to endure all of the traffic on the Parkway. So thanks again for showing up.

The weather did cooperate and we had a really nice day for driving. And we topped everything off by getting some great seats at lunch. I don't think we could have ended the meet at a better location.

Those of you who took pictures please post them or e-mail them to me, I didn't have my camera with me.

A few extra thoughts:

Charlie you were missed, we all wish you and your wife the best and look forward to seeing you at a future meet.

Zippy - Helping Charlie out is probably the only excuse we'll except for missing out on such a nice day

Gregg/Mike - Saturday night turned out to be a good time. Unfortunately the only thing I woke with on Sunday morning was a hangover. Glad to see you made it home safely Gregg.
