A Nice Drive in Southern Cal
I was reading the LA times this weekend and in the travel section there was an article about a drive that starts in Ojai and ends in Bakersfield at a Bed and Breakfest. Along the way there is a couple of stops and a place to eat lunch. The estimated cost per couple was around $300.00.
Me and my wife are going to do this drive and we thought it would be fun if other S2000 owners would like to join us. I will post more info if people are intrested.

Well Redhead I guess you and I are the only takers on this drive. What dates sound good for you? I am also going to put this thread under a differet title to get more response.

I might be interested depending on the dates and all. What information do you guys have? Bakersfield is hot as HELL! We'll have to put our roofs up so that we don't fry
I was up there 2 weeks ago and man, I had the A/C on with the roof down. Hot Hot Hot....sounds like a fun trip though..

Here is the article that I read.

The drive ends a bit north of Bakersfield not in Bakersfield. So hopefully it won't be that hot.
As for when I will have to call the Bed and Breakfest to find out when they have openings. Also there is only three rooms at the B&B so I am finding out about other places in the area.

I may be interested in doing part of the drive. Post date and times. You should be passing through Camarillo along the 101 to get to Ojai. Ojai to Ozena (hwy 33 and Lockwood Valley Road) is a VERY COOL drive. But once you get north of Maricopa, it's kind of boring. And Visalia will be just has hot as Bakersfield. If you have time and can find a place, head into the Sierras east of Visalia into the Sequoia or Kings Canyon NPs.
