Yeah, there are a few of us.
If you do a search, you'll find a couple of roll calls and a few failed attempts at organizing a get-together. I guess we're a little too laid back.
Maybe once the hibernation season is over...
I'd enjoy meeting more NW S2000 owners; there's talk of trying to organize a track day at PIR, which I'd be up for.

I would definitly be up for that ...
Cascade Sports Car Club hosted one event this year at PIR, and has two more scheduled. It is a driver training class, and is open to all cars. There must be an instructor in your car during all sessions, and the cost is great - $99.
I did the first one this year in my prelude, it was a ball. I will definitly be at the other two events with the newly acquired S2000.
THat would be really cool if we could arrange our own day though ...

Relson,
do you have any more details on the Cascade events? Dates? Car requirements? It's not a given that the S2000 stock roll hoops will be accepted.
I've been thinking of doing the Team Continental school, and after exchanging several e-mails, they will accept the S2000, but not my buddies' Corvette Roadster or Mustang convertible. If Cascade will take all of us, I'll be sure to come down.
Let us know what you can find out.
Thanks,
Ted

I know for a fact they will take the stock S2000's. There was a silver one there that day (factory roll bar as far as I could see).
All they require is a helmet, a roll bar of some kind on open cockpit cars, and a safe car (engine, structure, etc.)
That day, there were several S4's, A4's, BMW M3's, 3-series, vette's, porcshe's, mustang's, etc. (and even a Ford F-150 Lightning that glued to the track .. rain and all!!)
There was a mandatory Friday night classroom session (safety, handling, etc addressed). They repeated several times that you could die if you are not safe.
I have pics if anyone is interested.
Here are the dates:
August 10,11,12 (school and races .. not sure what that means, the first time it was just "school")
September 15,16 (school and races)
PIR website with complete schedules:
http://www.teleport.com/~pir/
Cascade Sports Car Club website with addtl info:
http://www.cascadescc.com/
Like I said before, the class was GREAT. The instructors teach how to drive your car, and you get a chance to open it up at a PIR. For a slim $99 (pizza diner included), you can can't beat it.
Also, this school is the first step for many to get their SCCA racing license.
