Does anyone out there in
s2000 land really know what Permaplate is! We had ours Permaplated before we picked it up;I want to find the main ingrediante or its aftermarket equivilent, but the dealer can't seem to tell us... Much appreciated. magi.

your better off with Zaino.. i used to work for Stevens Creek Toyota as a detailer.. trust me the stuff doesnt work, only to get more $ for unsuspecting fools when they buy their car.

Magi, you have to order Zaino from an authorized distributor (few and far between) or from their website (www.zainobros.com). PITA to order, but a sheer joy to put on/take off, and the depth of the gloss after a few coats is unbelieveable!

Hi Sondra! Thanks for your reply... I will check out their web site;I have to find out if I can apply it over the permaplate. (Whatever that is!!) From the forums it sounds like most people agree Zaino is the best way to go. I want to keep this critter looking good, it is just such an awesome car! We got the hard top this week and Honda did a good job on it, ...looks great. (Suzuka blue)
