Was a great meet and everyone was great! Got some good miles on the odo and some ppl achieved new top speeds.
Beautiful weather and the country roads were...TEXAS. All I can say...

Thanks for getting the pics up so fast - they all turned out great. I am looking forward to seeing the videos. The board members are in for a real treat.
The meet and greet was great. I had corresponded with several of the folks , so it was great to put faces with names. A testament to the power of the s200online board, everyone introduced themselves by their handle first, their given name second.
After eating at Chilis, we took the opportunity to check out the other cars and their respective mods. The pics Mark posted speak for themselves. I took the opportunity to show off my new "I want to be a Ferrari when I grow up" FIAMM air horns.
The weather could not have been better - brisk and sunny. Mark led us to some great country roads about 15 miles south of Houston. Fortunately, the roads were mostly devoid of traffic, as it has been rumored that several (make that all) cars hit triple digit speeds. After owning this car for 16 months, I still love it!!
Mark (aka Lips), by his own admission, is a bit of an @$$hole (pink flag!!), but he's such a great guy otherwise, that we all let that one small character flaw slide. A huge kudos to him for organizing the meet!
I'm looking forward to the next Houston get-together.

By the way, the drive back to austin was great... especially once I got away from those crazy Houston drivers== boy do they sure crowd the road (board members youll understand once lips2000 posts the videos)

It's always great to meet fellow S2K members...
I had a great lunch and it was nice to meet everyone. Nice to know each S2K is personalized by everyone's special touch.
Can't wait to see the first Comptech supercharged S2K in our area!!!
Sorry I couldn't make it to the back road drive...but there will be another time.
Glad to see everyone had fun...now if only I can find time to wash my car (that goes for you too, Unicron)

We will have to do it again sometime soon. I just have to add , thank goodness for the radar detector up front and for the fact that all the cops were at the rodeo
