i don't understand your comment revhard.
If you are unfamiliar with Team City Limit, let me give you some information regarding the name.
We are a import and domestic car club based around the chicagoland area. There is nothing childish about people congregating due to similar interests.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them.

Hey now! I think that is rather harsh, especially considering A) this person is a guest in our forum, B) team city limit has several friends on this board, including Luder94, and C) they are actively promoting the import scene by organizing shows like this one.
Let's not forget there are other "teams" out here as well, such as over6racing and the embryonic Team NOT Yellow. Personally, I am planning on attending if the weather gods don't intervene elsewhere this weekend as a spectator, not an entry. My front bumper is a little bashed up from autocrossing.

thanks RacerX.
Personally, I have no idea where the word childish stemmed from.
For those of you guys interested in joining or attending the show.
please let me know, i can put you on the list so that you only pay $20 rather than the $25 at the door fee.
Parking will be $5 and will be collected by Exotic Coach. I believe for an extra $15, it'll be worth it to keep an eye on your car.

Revhard, Rich,
I'm actually a prospective member for TCL.
Revhard,
there's nothing childish about the import race/show scene. It's a billion dollar industry. This show that is developed and promoted by TCL is actually a very mature venture.....listen to 92.7 FM and you'll see the big business that is related.
If your comment about something being childish is not about the show and is referring to the "team" thing, let me tell you that as there are RACE teams, there are SHOW teams. Show teams go after sponsorships, and at times are chased by sponsors....just like the racers.
Hard-core show-ers get their cars all dolled up and ship them around the country to put them in competitions, put them in photoshoots, put them up in sponsorship booths, etc.
Not every car has the unmatched, hacked up, boy-racer look. If you'd like to see some of these high quality import show cars, come to the show....mine will be there at the Dent Wizard booth (an S2KCA sponsor----at least locally here in Chicago at the Hoffman Estates location).
