As title states, I am in the process of doing the soft top replacement over the weekend. I have an 2001 and just made a purchase on a 2002-Newer model OEM soft top with glass.

I've read through some of the popular threads on this subject, the question in particular I am looking for is for the older AP1's using it's frames with the glass soft top Is there a modification needed on the bars to be used on the OEM Glass Window Softop.

I read that some had if you went that route you would have to modify the bars, is it needed? Anybody have any info? I have a rivet gun and rivets and drill to drill out the rivets. so far those are the main tools

any info would happily appreciated..
