Hi i have a few questions on doing a conversion for the soft tops. i searched and saw the link with the ribbons top conversion. But i have a local shop that has a crashed 05 s2k and he is selling the soft top with the frame. I just want to know if the frame is striaght bolt on and what else do i need? is there a defroster on the glass tops? is everything bolt on and i do not need the conversion kit? thanks -tim

 

No it is not direct bolt on. Need to modify the frame for it to close correctly with the glass top. I am going to go with the Robbins top as that comes with the modified frame to allow it to work correctly on the '00, '01 models.

 

The only modification is to drill 8 holes and rivet 2 straps. You may need some more rivets, but the robbins includes all 4 straps now.
