Default 3rd tail light LED replacement

Hi all, new owner of 2005 s2k!

Unfortunately, this car I just bought didn't see a lot of love, and was never garaged for 10 years in Hawaii Therefore, paint is trashed and things are brittle. This morning I came to the car to find that the 3rd tail light was cracked open! Looking for a replacement, but considering an alternative to OEM, maybe LED, and looking for recommendations. I searched around a little here but couldn't find any reviews or recommendations. Has anyone here used these ebay ones? The price is right! TIA!

The OEM light is LED already. For this price (vs $250+ for a genuine Honda part) I'd take a chance.

So finally got around to installing this LED light, I am pretty happy with it, especially for the price! The fit is not 100%, but is it ever 100% with eBay stuff? As you can see, the shape doesn't conform perfectly to the trunk, it is not curved enough and there is no way to fix it that I can think of. I just installed as is, and since it doesn't rain much where I live, I'm OK with it. The main difference is that the new light, the LEDs are spaced quite a bit apart, not clustered together like OEM. It's a different look, and for the price, I'm OK with it. It does look alot better just sitting there over the OEM, which was red. The black is a lot nicer in my opinion. Check out the pics.

It may be that it was designed for the MY00+MY01 fitment. Those two years are different from the balance of the production years.

I wouldn't be happy with that, but if the price was right and you like it then it works. I've got a mint oem light for sale leftover from my car with low miles, if anyone needs one hit me up.

You have a great price Joey but shipping to Hawaii might kill the deal?

Maybe this could be carefully heated with a heat gun, and molded by gloved hand to a more curved shape?
