Default 4.77 Gears

hey i was just wondering how much friction do FD gears go thourgh? Just thinking of putting a Dry Film Coating on them before i install them. Good idea?

I would imagine it would be the same with the stock 4.10s? I may be wrong. I got my 4.77's without any coating and seem to be holding up great.

Or this cryogenics

A shop in my area does this to the gears. It might be worth checking into.

i have herd that SPOON polishes the gears all over and it helps reduce friction as well for ALOT less money...but im a total newb to that, i just read it in a magazine lol
