4.77's or Comptech SC
can't feel a difference between 4.77s and 4.10s? how did that happen? i had both 4.77s and a 7psi comptech, awesome combo together. if you're at a cross road then go with the supercharger, if it's not fast enough you can always up the boost. gearing would be more the end piece of a NA car and your driving habits. i ditched my supercharger eventhough the power was great and ended up getting a hardtop and i am fine with just my 4.77s as it's quick enough. my daily driving only let me WOT maybe once or twice a day and i wasn't really getting to beat on the supercharger as much as i wanted. in my situation gears and maybe an occasional nitrous would be an ideal combo. i've played with the idea of nitrous here and there but still haven't pulled the trigger, but if a reputable member with a good kit at a cheap price comes along, i'd entertain the thought...
Despite all the responses in this thread (thanks by the way) I ended up going with gears. I already have them just waiting on the isntall. I need to get the rebuild kit for the diff still, I know HTG sells a kit for $150, but he wont answer my calls or respond to my emails. I hope to get a hold of him soon. Either way, it will be right about a grand for everything said and done. Supercharging just can't touch that right now and I used the rest of what I was saving to get a new top since mine was torn. Im excited to driver the car after the install.
1000? You can get 4.77 gears from a KIA SPORTAGE for just 400 http://www.turbomagazine.com/tech/08...ve_ratios.html
edit : not to mention you can get the gear, cryo, installation kit, install kit for HTG for 790.

^You can buy the gears direct from Kia for $240 shipped. Or could a year ago or so the last time I looked. I would assume his cost is including the installation of the gears into the diff etc.
The 1k price is including yellow box (which I did get, its in the picture next to the gears) and diff rebuild kit and install. But yes, I did find the Kia gears themselves for $280. Overall not a bad deal. Since I can't get a hold of HTG, I did some searching and found some good deals on pinion bearings. I ordered those last night and now just need to get the seals and shim kit. I will pick those up from Honda on Wed.
