Default 75 shot to 100 shot

i was looking to go from a 75 shot to 100 shot on my ap1. i was wondering if anyone know if this would be okay or do harm to my engine. if i did do a 100 shot i would spray a little later. around 6100. i have a zex wet kit with a dyno tune window switch...thanks in advance guys.

If you want to know if it will harm your engine search for customcamry on here and see if you get anything about a 100 shot. He went up to 100 shot after everyone told him it was a stupid idea without lowering compression and he raced ~2 times and blew his engine. So if you do it... please lower your compression first. Think about how much crap your cramming into your engine at one time.

It seems like its the safest without lowering compression, so yes. Otherwise you need to lower it via engine work or by adding a thicker head-gasket. Probably wouldn't hurt either way to get your car tuned though...

Honestly, I don't know how 'safe' running nitrous is with our engines. It doesn't seem like it is but there have been quite a few people running a 75 shot with proper tuning and etc. Head over to the forced induction forum and ask them. You might get a few more hits if you do that. If anything else, you'd get some more opinions to steer you in a direction to go.

Hmmm, im pretty sure a few guys have run 100shot. Look up Juiceds2k, I think he was running 100shot for over 3 years without any problems and is now going turbo. I do believe he was running a direct port system though.

Pm JuicedS2k, pretty sure he ran a 100 shot for 2 years with no problems...

I believe he said wet shot, window switch, and WOT switch. Probably a step colder plugs, maybe even a VAFC would help. A 100 shot can be done if people are doing 500 to the wheels without head gaskets.

Yeah my current setup is aem v2 intake, plm header t1r v3 single, aem wideband, Giles emanage tune, dynotune window switch, wot switch as well. Airfuels are 11.1-11.3 when I'm spraying my 75 shot. Without shot they are 12.3ish. I also have ngk 1 step colder plugs too and they look like a darkish tan. No build up at all. I've sprayed 15 times far.
