You really wanna pay over 700 bucks for a piece of pipe and a resonator?

If it is not a race are and a drive on the street car they have an app for that.

Quality materials and assembly?

I wouldn't want to daily their race exhaust. If noise is a concern at all you'll want the resonated version with a muffler.

is there really much different between the muffler only and the resonator only? i like the look of not having a fat muffler at the end of the pipe.

^I think it sounds better too. I heard a custom system with a Magnaflow muffler in the midsection followed by a straight pipe to the rear, it had a clean, sharp bark to it. A straight pipe from the cat to a rear mounted muffler sounded more muddy and boomy. Just my personal preference.

The Challenge 76-TA looks very well made BTW.

I am a big fan of the design of the challenge exhaust. I've always liked the idea of a mid mounted muffler, even though I've never seen it done. However, what you have been looking at is a full race exhaust which I imagine is louder than the Berk 3 inch. I would recommend the street version of the challenge because the company designed the exhaust around a specific use. If it sounds anything like my spoon did with no rear section it will be crazy loud. (some buddies thought it would be fun if we unbolted it for a trip around the block, then it went back on)

Going the custom route gets me vote! Should be sick to hear a mid mounted muffler. My problem with the ta-rm is that a vibrant resonator is under 150 and 3 inch piping is fairly cheap. There is not real bents you can't copy with a mandrel bender. So why spend 700 bucks?

Yah it would be like half the price to go custom. I just need to find a nice muffler to use.. Im trying to have it make power as well. hahaha
