I use it as a pit speed limiter on 40mph roads

Coz 'mericans are lazy?

Seriously though, cruise control does seem anathema to the S2000 but when I installed mine in 2001 it was for a specific reason. I was driving a 1000Km north to an IndyCar event past an innumerable number of speed cameras. I figure if I'm going to get a ticket it's going to be when I am deliberately doing something wrong, not just when I have inadvertently let my speed creep up over the limit on the highway.

That said, I mostly took back roads up there and had a lot of fun. The cruise control really only got some use on the way back.

Yes, this is true. Everytime I drive long distances, either from LA to vegas, or LA to san francisco, or LA to another state, I use cruise control. I'm too lazy to always have my foot on the gas pedal.
