Default Advice for build

Hello all, I have a 07 LBP and I was looking to buy the Seibon hard top soon. I was going to buy it straight from Seibon. Is there any extra parts I need to install this? Like weather stripping or something?

OEM seals and hardware are the best for any hardtop. Not sure what the seibon comes with but it is not the oem stuff. If you are planning on spending the $3500 that seibon has listed on their website for a hardtop I would just buy a real frp mugen hardtop. Comes with all the OEM hardware which is a good chunk of money if bought on it's own.

I mean that’s what their website says.

Forbidden and rockstar garage are both vendors that make hardtops and are active on here.

I called Seibon today and they said I would need front and rear latches plus weather stripping and that I could get them from POM? Not sure what this is, any ideas or experience with this?

No idea. I think hardtop guy has oem hardware and weather seals? I believe the 2 vendors I mentioned also carry seals and hardware. Not sure why you are dead set on seobon but best of luck. That’s a lot of money for a replica hardtop carbon fiber or not.

I'm not dead set, just looking at options at the moment and what will give me durability through Texas heat. I will look into the two you mentioned. I appreciate the response.
