Default Advice on which ECU for Tune

Hi I was leaning towards a AEM S2 standalone until I did my research and found out that it doesnt support CEL readings =[. I like my warnings on my car so I am not willing to give that feature up. So I figured I will most likely have to go with a piggyback? So what are my choices for a My01?

Goals: I/H/E/HFC tune while keeping my CEL warnings.

What are my best choices? Thanks

if money wasn't a big concern then go with this. http://www.ballisticmotorsports.org/index....4&category_id=9

it's basically a greddy emanage on STEROIDS lol. i personally have it and i believe it's a very good investment. no need to go to a tuner everytime you mod your car other than FI, cams, or ITB's. if your strictly going to stay N/A then this is your best bet.

There are some recent threads about using a Haltech to run the engine while the OEM ECU does everything else, including the OBDII "stuff". I think Evans Tuning sells a PNP harness for it too.

Who is tuning your car is more important than what ems to go with. Find a tuner near you first, and talk to him which ems he knows better.

Kpro?

Just wondering what the need for CEL lights are? Do you still need to be able to pass a plug in SMOG test? If that is the case then the AEM might even suit you even more since you can swap that system out with the OEM ECU.

Looks like a great unit. Do you have to get your car tuned on a dyno at first or does the EMU "learns" and adjusts to optimal settings as you mod the car? How is their tech support (if you had to use it)?
