Default AEM V2 cai

Hey guys, I ordered an AEM V2 cai off of Amazon.com:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...ls_o00_s01_i01

I pulled it out of the box and It doesn't say V2 anywhere on the unit or on the box. For anyone whose familiar with these can you tell me if what I received is in fact the V2? The part number matches with the same model on the Evasive Motorsports website but the picture they show is much different.

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...-INTAKEEXHAUST

Would like to confirm I have the right one before I install. Thanks for any help!

Jeff

Those images just seem as if they were taken from different angles. Also, the piping looks to be turned differently. What does the one you have look like? I think of picture of it would help tremendously here.

To my knowledge, the V2's known for the stepped piping (different diameters).

Yeah, mine looks just like the one in the Amazon pic. Nothing like the one in the Evasive pic. I did go on e-bay and all the V2's shown look like the one I got so I'm thinking I'm ok. And looking at the one pictured on the Evasive site, I don't even see how that would fit. But if anyone can confirm that would be great. Otherwise I'm throwing it on this weekend!

Most sites use a generic picture for the intake photo, as long as the part number matches the v2 part number on AEM's website then you are good.. Mine didn't come with a "V2" sticker on the intake or in the box.. They probably just went with the new sticker to change it up a bit..

As long as its that grey color and has two pipes with a very large filter, it's more than likely an AEM V2..
