I am looking to put a tablet in my car just to connect to my AEM V2 to display info, has anyone done this? I know I can spend a ton of money on the AEM display but just thinking if I can use a small like 7in tablet to do the job and save a bunch of money. Really just looking to see temps, and a few other things shown when connected to a laptop for tuning. Has anyone else done something like this if so what did you use or what should I be looking for? I know it will need a USB port as well as a charging port, and be able to download the AEM software. Was even thinking of getting a joying headunit if it will work. Thanks in advance for any help.

 

AEM Tuner only supports Windows so unless that tablet runs Windows 7 to 10 it won't be able to link with your Series 2. I can see why you'd want that tablet in car though. It would make for a cool display and quick access to the ECU.

It's a really cheap windows tablet, I still use mine sometimes.

 

Despite it's bulk I really wouldn't mind that
