Default AFE Pro-Dry S Air Filter

Did anyone use this new AFE air filter ? It can be cleaned by: lightly tap it on the ground, vacuum it, or wash with soap and water. No oil is needed.

No, but their website says the price is $95. At that price, I know I wouldn't buy an air filter.

The price of Pro-Dry S part #11-10065 on their website is $70.59. The price of old style (oil cleaned) part #10-10065 is $94.12, about $24 more than the Pro-Dry. The Pro-Dry part #11-10065 can be purchased for $60 shipped at ultimatetruck.com, which is about double the price of OEM filter.

AFE is very high quality, easy to clean, last the life of the car and it is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. I'm tempting to buy this AFE filter to replace the current one that is 4.5 years old and 27k miles.

did you check out the AEM dryflow filters?

I'm not sure which one would fit, but they're cheaper and still very high quality, and don't need oil.
