Default Aftermarket Rotors

Just looking for a quick response:

I want cross drilled and slotted rotors - for the bling factor mainly.

I dont track the car, hence why I want both cross drilled and slotted. My car is a garage queen so I dont get a lot of time to drive it....which will also help in making the pads last longer.

stock ap2 calipers with OEM ap1 pads is what I have.

Anyone recommend a brand / part number, through experience, for front and rear rotors that are cross drilled and slotted?

thanks in advance.

if you are not going to track the car like you said then it doesn't really matter, if it going to crack then it's going to crack.

most of them are all machined out of blanks, maybe casted one will last you better.

just for warning, you are looking to spend more money on a piece that has less thermal capacity, less active braking surface and more prone to cracks.

you have to make the call between function and...bling(huh..)

if you want pads to last, don't get drilled and/or slotted, they just wear out ur pads faster...

any decent aftermarket rotors are probably cheaper than OEM (minus Spoon rotors ) and have better performance... i forget the brand of slotted rotors that i got, but i do remember they were $100 CDN apiece...

I picked up a set of ebay slotted/dimpled for $125 full set. They have seen some agresive street use over the last couple of years, even a track day. They have exceded my expectations. My only complaint is the inner front rotors rust. You might try getting some high temp paint in there if possible.
