Default Aftermarket Spoiler

Hello,

when i was fiting my new aftermarket Spoiler, and when i was tightening the screws it did bend my boot, since its note special made for s2k. Is it common problem? or its just me being idiot? and maybe there is the way to avoid that? I will be thankful for any help.

Many Thanks.

That is normal on some rear wing spoilers. Our boot (trunk) is not flat like the bottom of the pedestal on some wings.
If you put re-enforced backing, it will minimize the bending.

Got Picture?

Honda sheetmetal is one step above foil wrap in terms of thickness, not surprised it bent. That's why Honda reinforced the CR trunk.
