Default Aftermarket spoiler install

Im good to be getting a free asm cf spoiler in a couple weeks and wanted to know if the trunk needs to be drilled to fit it? If so im going to just get rid of it.

I've installed lip spoilers (like the ASM spoiler) by only using 3M Double-Sided Tape. The stuff is very strong. I would give that a go.

I thought the ASM spoiler just bolts up to where the third brake light mounts.
