Air intake

Id say which ever one actually lowers IAT. The stock intake flows well, its just prone to heat soak.10F drop is worth 3hp on average. That's going to surpass most flow design differences for a off the shelf option. So block off the hot coolant to the TB and manifold, run a snorkel or custom duct to get direct air from the front of the car/grill to the filter. Relocate the IAT sensor ( If 00-05) to the intake tube/DBW location to get proper timing advancement = more power. And there you go!

^^ That's the same set up as I have, and also read the ram flow works 150kmph up ,because of the boundary layer ect.

Ballade Sport's intake kit, combined with a snorkel. Their intake filter has a velocity stack built into the base and it comes with a silicone intake arm.

I liked the CT Engineering Ice Box intake so much that I adapted it to my supercharger when I made the conversion to forced induction.

This is my ram air setup:
Project S2000: Part 19 - Ram Air!!! Plus Hot Air Testing!
After that test, I wasn't seeing the pressure gain I had calculated.
Next test, I figured out the issue and got pretty much all the available pressure gain.
