It's a RHD. In US you have LHD cars, right?

you got best of both worlds, i been driving without my pump for a few now i woner if my cat will be going bad soon
As far as I understand the air pump is only there to heat up the cat for better performance on cold start for emission standards purposes, but it doesn't affect the life of the cat at all.

It seems as long as the pump is connected the the CEL light stays off, and also you can't disconnect the little soliniod next to the air box, that must stay connected, but you can remove the air pipe that leads to the value to direct the air into the exhaust.

Anybody know where I can buy a delete kit?

I'll post some pics later tonight...
I wish it worked that way with the US model...

But the air pump is no in the engine bay.
Another rice mod IMO.
the lines and crap are.. they also make it a pain to work on certain things. On turbo cars the exhaust back pressure can push the valve open effectively causing an exhaust leak and limiting boost.

all of the pieces combined weigh a tad more than 2lbs... and ever little bit helps.

so lets say you buy a turbo kit that comes with either a AEM or k-pro ems, they can be tuned to not read the air pump?
Ive been looking at the Mase kit and i might be picking one up, i might do this and just eliminate my air pump, would that be an option?

RSX ECU used in KPRO doesn't even use the secondary air injection system so you will not get a CEL and still have ODBII. The AEM EMS does not use OBDII, no CEL but won't pass emissions or inspection if they try to do a scan.

In my case replacing the air pump Vs. upgrading to AEM EMS the air pump is the more expensive option, but for now I don't have that cash to spend on repairs to the delete kit will have to do for now.
