Default Alloy Craft Review

When I went to buy them, i scanned all over and couldn't find a review, so for anyone else interested... Here it is!

Radiator Cooling Plate:
Fit: 9.5/10 May need to trim a tiny bit off where the lever for the hood release is touching plate
Quality: 10/10 Light, and solid
Look: 10/10 Looks great, flows well

Spark Plug Cover (snap on/off):
Fit: 10/10 Fits great, flush
Quality: 10/10 Solid, scratch resistant
Look: 10/10 Looks much cleaner on the valve cover, great flow

Fuse Box Heat Shield: I LOVE this piece
Fit: 9.9/10 Just gotta apply some pressure here and there to get it to bolt up
Quality: 10/10 sturdy as hell, my old heat shield rattled, this does not (ALSO ELIMINATES that horrible rear bolt off the heat shield.)
Look: 10/10 Looks great, adds some angles as well

Looks good man! I saw that they also might be making crossmember covers soon. That would definetly finish it off nicely.

I just installed the fuse box heat shield, it looks great, you do need to mess with it a bit to get it to fit, it is nice and sturdy. Not having to deal with that lower bolt on the stock heatshield is a huge blessing. I managed to lose one of the small screws on installation but Eric supplies some spares in the kit, nice move. I've got to give it a good cleaning before the first heat cycle so it doesn't get marked up. Nice product.

i'd love to get the battery heat shield but I am running a log manifold so I would have to cut a giant hole in the side so it is not worth it to me.

The heat shield goes down from the two center bolts, completely eliminates the rear bolt, and it curves up to the bracket on the top. if anything i would say it has more room than the stock heat shield. I think i have a picture i will put up.

Put my name on my spark cover!

only pic i have of them apart, it comes in two pieces.

at the top you see the 2 holes, at the left you see the bracket, its a smooth arc...

yea i have looked at em, looks good, but i plan to get a SOS SC down the road, so it wont do me any good lol, so i dont plan to get it, but if you are showing your car, or stay NA i would get that, aswell as the catch can/overflow combo. All of the products clean up a bay really well.

Nice review!
Your bay is Lookin nice. I will be picking up the fuse box cover. You think I have to worry about leaving any marks on the polished aluminum installing it??

Dc2-ap1 can we get some pictures of your engine bay? Particulary the crossmember covers.

Hope I see this threads updates, but who knows with s2ki.com these days.
