Default AMUSE GT1 KIT

Hi all

I've stripped my S200 down to bare shell for a full respray and engine works (detailed in seperate threads).

MY original intention was to upgrade my AP1 with AP2 bumpers all round, however since starting this project, I have totally fallen in love with the front end of the Amuse GT1 kit.. Who doesn't like it I hear you say...

However I'm really don't like the rear of this kit. IMO there are too many air vents and the exhaust relocation isn't to my taste.

So I'm looking for some help from you guys in the US who probably have more experience with this kit then what's available to me in the UK..

I want to know if anyone offerers a kit with a Amuse GT1 wide boy style front bumper, fenders paired with a less extreame and more OEM looking wide boy rear end..

My car is going in for paint shop after the holiday season (Feb 2013) so I have a couple of months to source, import and test fit parts.

Any info, advise, links you could share is massively appreciated!

amuse GT1 kit is thumb down? these vents are designed for the purpose. keep in mind, s2000 has terrible aerodynamics.

however, they have a different option for those people don't want extra cutting/welding on their exhausts. imho, it's one of the best kits ever designed for s2000.

They offer it because amuse makes each of those exhausts for the specific car. They won't just make one and ship it to you they build it on the car. I like the kit if it is a really built car. The other option is try and have a body shop do some custom work on the bump we but your messing with a expensive kit.

powerhouse amuse is a love & hate company. they will show you some nice parts, but they will never sell them to you. for example, the wider version spoiler & extra vented hood on their GT1 demo car.

What about that rear fender? I really like the bodykit, but paying $30,000+ just to have it because of the exhaust, don't really feel like it
