Default Amuse or Tracy Exhaust

Hi I am Ryan.

I am from Irvine OC. I just purchased 2008 S2000. I am planning to get header and exhaust. I like amuse R1 exhaust and I just found out about Tracy Sports. Which one is better sound and looks?

also at the same time getting a CAI either Gruppe-M Carbon intake or ARC intake.

give me some common.

those are pretty subjective questions - does anyone have a video of a Tracy Sports exhaust on an S? I saw a price of $3800 for the dual setup...WTF...

tracy sports is more rare than amuse. and according to bulletproof, tracy sports exhausts are "the new king of exhausts," i guess taking the crown from amuse lol

both exhausts are made by nippon steel so basically your getting the same exhaust just different name and slightly different specs... Tracy is more rare by FAR!!! They both have the same quality. Talk to Mike at bulletproof automotive he can hook you up with all the nitty gritty details and amazing pricing!

To be honest here, if you can afford amuse or tracy ones, I really suggest you just getting a Mugen one. It's the BEST sounding exhaust ever without being so loud.

what do you want from an exhaust?

if it's just lightweight, than a j's would be more economical at nearly half the price.

the material, craftmanship and finish on the amuse and tracy sports is the same, the difference is just in the design.

Tracy Sports is offered in a 60, 70 or 80mm cat back

while amuse is offered in only a 60mm cat back or 70mm header back iirc.

what is your goal on your build?

i own an amuse r1 and the craftsmanship is amazing very nice build i can;t complain about the exhaust at all. i bought mine from a member here for about 1600 the 70rr is about 1,699 from evasive and the 60 rs is a bit more cheaper the r1 is about the same price as the 70rr and yes the r1 is loud but i love the sound it makes the s2k sound like a beast the 70rr also comes in a resonated version but i hear that the j's racing exhausts are prone to rattling but j's does make a great product all in all it depends how much u want to spend and what kind of gains your looking for unless you wanna spend like 4k on tracy sports than be my guest lol i don't have that kind of cash!
