Default Anyone 2JZ an S2000?

Its been done. Quite a few times from what I see from YouTube. The only difficulty I see with doing this would be the frame since the motor is longer. The 2JZ in all honesty would be a lot stronger and more reliable than a Turbo'd F22. And thats in part to cast iron block, very strong pistons and rods. I've seen 450hp crank power on stock internals to say the least, I've seen 600hp as well. Only thing I would do to a S2000 motor is S/C it. Anyhow, anyone try this project?

The white S2k on Youtube with over 1100 hp and 8 second quarter miles is truly amazing.

Why? The 2JZ is endlessly modifiable, and is even stronger. I see too many LS7s go bad with a little abuse.

Not sure what your talking about. The F20 and F22's are more than capable of handling 450whp even 600whp reliably. They internals are also forged and uses a two piece block. I can't even begin to count how many boosted F series are over 500whp on this site and have little to no problems. Was this post made in 2002? There are quite a few 2jz swapped S2k's around. If you look in the gallery, another guy just completed one in the middle east and posted pics. I would never swap a 2jz in this car. Sure it's a good engine, but look up S2King's car. He has beaten that 1200hp 2jz S2k with his F series. Fastest S2k in the world right now and its with the F series engine.
