i like the tsx switchblade. This one is too bulky and cheap. someone invent a better one!

Never been a problem. If you do this to your key, there is a diode in the plastic end of the key. It is as wide as the key blade.

What I mean is, try explaining that to the cop as all he can see is a screwdriver jammed into the ignition. His initial thought would be "STOLEN HONDA..!" I'm sure once you flash the reg/your license all will be fine, but its hard to recover from such a bad first impression - or maybe if the cop has a good sense of humor all would be well..

it should be do-able. over on the TL forums, the previous TL's have key/remote like ours and was able to integrate it into the newer switchblade keys. let me see if i can find the DIY

Can the buttons be programmed for lock/unlock/trunk release? If so I might pick this up, my keyless entry fob broke so it doesn't fit on a chain any more and it's a hassle. If this can be used as a keyless entry system I'm down.
