I've seen a couple of these for sale but don't know where they got the parts. I'm referring to the defrost switch for the rear glass when the top is upgraded from the vinyl window. I saw in one FS thread that the switches were given with the top itself from the top manufacturer. Anyone know if this is the case because I can't even find the parts from Honda?

 

Stock defrost switch is not on the console. Its on the dash.

 

if its ap1 00-01, and theres a defrost switch on center console, its because it had a hardtop on it at one point and hardtops have defrosters. I know this because i had center console with defrost switch there.

 

There is a wiring harness and defrost switch kit for the hardtop for '00/'01 AP1's that resides in the console:

I just had a new top with glass window with deroster/defogger, contemplating having these switches/relays/harnesses, but may not be worth the time/effort/$$$...
