If i were to upgrade my center console (currently stock ap1) to a 2004 and newer center console, where does my hardtop defroster button go? Is it a simple process to switch consoles, or am i going to have to do a lot of work because of this button? Thanks.

 

I would recommend getting the 2006+ center console, which has a defrost button in the center console.

The harnesses may not match up, but I am sure you can cut and splice to make it work since the wires are in a similar location.
