I bought a similar one on ebay a few days ago. I will let you know how the fit is when I get it. I picked up a cheap lip last year for my ek civic for 30 and surprisingly it fit well. To me an item like this is almost considered a wear item so I wouldnt stress it too much. If you order it and it fits like shit, send it back!

Here is my $50 lip. It was advertised that it was shipped in a large box not folded and it came that way. It is a little tight to get on but I would rather that than not the right size.

I had it painted for about $100 also at a body shop.

It will, I have yet to see anyone complain about his ap1 lips. What I would do is just bolt on the sides on the inner fender wells, then use 3M double sided tape to stick the rest of the lip on strait and it will hold it fine. Just be sure to heat up the tape with a blow dryer for a little bit right before you apply it and it will make it a lot sticker. When I tried to pull mine off my old ap1 bumper I almost couldnt do it, pretty embarassing. I now have an ap2 front with BaysonR's ap2 amuse replica lip and it also fits great. I did use hardware on the bottom of this one since it's a bigger/heaver lip. With the ap1 one just do as I said and you will be fine.
