Default AP1 Rear Bumper on AP2

For those w/ AP1 rear bumpers on AP2s, did you cut the bottom rear bracket (attached to the middle bottom bumper)? I noticed that the bracket on the AP2 is longer. I put the AP1 bumper on & the middle bottom piece hangs down like a diffuser.

Also..the reason why I switched over to the AP1 bumper is for the single exhaust cap. I have the Z-Tec cap & it fits like sh*t!! Anyone have experience w/ other single exhaust caps?? Fitment?

Thanks in advance!!

The brackets are a pain. You really need to have them taken off and new brackets welded on for it be to be perfect.

It's easier going from AP1 to AP2 since you just need some extender brackets.
