Default AP1 Rear Gears Ratio?

What would be a good rear gear ratio for an AP1?

Found a couple for AP2, and right now whacked with the assorted numbers:

4.27, 4.44 and 4.77

Any thoughts? Also, what would be involved in applying the process? Do I need to purchase any parts to make it happen?

excuse my noob guise

Is this a track car, street car, or both?

Also I've never seen a 4.27 gear... The closest thing to 4.27 would be a 4.3. I'm running an OEM Mazda 4.3 gear in my rear end. However, I have an AP2 transmission. I selected my gear ratio after analyzing data from the race tracks I normally run on.

I would say ur best bet for an ap1 would be 4.56 or 4.77. If you drive on the highway a lot you would prefer 4.56. Me personally I'm never on the highway and I love my 4.77s. From what I've read the 4.44 don't make to much of a difference in an ap1. Simplest way to get this mod done is have puddymod build you the complete differential so you can just swap them out.
