ap1 slave cylinder

I'm in the process of doing a complete ap2 swap in my ap1 and wondering if the ap1 slave cylinder will work with the ap2 transmission?

Yes it does and I recommend it over the ap2. The ap2 has no resistance when engaging/disengaging the clutch
