hey everyone i need some info on this does any one knows what needs to be done to have ap1 tail lights on a ap2 ?

There is a lot of info about ap2 tails on an ap1, but not the other way around. What I would do is make sure your new ap1 tails come with the foam gasket and use that as a cutting template, and also try to get an ap1 harness since the connectors are different. You may be able to mod yours but it's a little ghetto trimming the connectors, but it does work. I know you have to do this for the ap2 conversion, but when you get them just look at your connectors and see what you have to mod on them to get them to work.

 

He's asking about ap1 tails on an ap2, not ap2 tails on an ap1.

Still need to cut/drill/rewire

 

same process but the cutouts are a little different. just use the ap1 taillight foam gaskets as a template when you cut.
